Need to do more research to work out exactly where this house is on St David St. This one is clearly timber and suggests the

This building was situated on the corner of Webb and Napier Street’s. It was the first meeting place of the Fitzroy City Council. It has been demolished. According to Nicola A Piccolo, Hotels in Fitzroy up to 1906, the following are the publicans of the Fitzroy Hotel:

168 Napier Street, Fitzroy
The two houses in this first recent picture, numbered 166 (right) and 168 (left) were built prior to 1865. The house number at the time of the 1865 Sands & MacDougall Directories was 114. William Blanchfield is recorded as living at 55 Napier St in 1867, this was later known as 63 Napier Street, Fitzroy in 1872 from 1867 until at least 1886. This building has an interesting history, it was a large building that was built prior to 1880 and was a likely a square building with four upper window on each side as shown in the 1880 photograph below.
