Alfred White, is known for building the Johnston & Co buildings at 184-196 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy, which would have been quite grand before the top storeys burned down. Charles Webb was the Architect who most likely designed the additional ‘wings’ to the Osborne House in Nicholson Street, Fitzroy.

Simple brick cottages built during the depression of the 1890s reflecting the constraints of the period, the only adornment being the patterned brick work and unusual Dutch gable. Classified by the National Trust: 09/12/1976 (National Trust)

I haven’t confirmed it, but I believe this is the residence of Paul and Ann Coghlan, who moved here in the 1970’s from North Fitzroy. Paul became a Mayor of Fitzroy in 1974-1975 and Anne was instrumental in the reshaping and relocation of the Isobel Henderson Kindergarten among other community educational improvements.
