132-134 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy (London Hotel)

It would appear this site was a hotel from at least 1881 when the Fitzroy Press advertised it as the Castle Donnington Hotel. Prior to this it was the OddFellows.

The London Hotel existed on the corner of Webb and Brunswick Streets in 1901, as evidenced by the MMBW map below.

Then by 1899, some of the building looks to be being used by Mrs J Shannan a pastrycook.

Of the site, nothing now exists, being part of the Atherton Gardens estate.
