There is no record of anything on this corner spot of land (North East corner of Young / Kerr Street) until 1872 when we see Francis Cass here. Francis owned and lived on this site at that time.

By 1885, Francis had passed away and his wife Mrs Cass still owned the site, but rented the house out to James Greenough (1885), then John Kennedy (1888-1893). The building in 1890 is described as a brick coach house (Rate Books). From 1895 Jamie Kennedy is listed as renting the place to 1910, but it appears that James / Mary Kennedy bought the site from 1893.
From 1915, Arthur Abrahams is located at the site and is here till 1925. They may have been operating a business from the site as in 1920 they are recorded as Arthur Abrahams & Sons Sack Merchants. By 1930, Frederick Bennett is here, but not for long when Thomas Shaw moves in in1935 and remains on the corner site until 1970.
In 1975, the site is recorded as a car park.

Since this date the new double town house has been built with 127 Kerr St, opening onto Young St and 129 Kerr St onto Kerr.
